The Zuni reservation also offers hunting and fishing opportunities with corresponding permits. For example, the Nutria lakes offer trout fishing. Permits available at the Zuni Tribal government building (505.782.4481), in the center of the Pueblo and at various community establishments. Elk and muledeer permits are available through the Zuni Tribal Fish and Wildlife Department (505.782.5851). Best source of information in progress: the Pueblo of Zuni's own web site- currently under development, which provides more information about the Pueblo of Zuni Fish & Wildlife Department / Department of Natural Resources. |
