Guests can explore the Hogbacks in the Zuni Mountains and see wild animals such as bears, deer, elk, turkeys, and mountain lions in their natural habitat, and see one of the hangouts of Billy the Kid!

Box S Ranch is located in Nutria Canyon in the Zuni Mountains. Pat is a 4th generation Vanderwagen – a family with considerable history in and around Zuni, New Mexico. He is CPR certified and has two beautiful horses ready for a nice ride.
Clients will be picked up and dropped off at the Inn at Halona. Pick-up and drop-off times will be determined by which package and activities are on the agenda. Details will be worked out with Pat upon booking.
Lunch is included in all packages. Dinner is included in the 2-day package.
